Project Description

After creating the branding for The Wensum Trust. They came back to FOUR to help with the branding and a new ‘campaign support’ website for a ground breaking new special school, which, if they gain the support needed to go ahead, will be part of the Trust.

The school will be called ‘Place’ – an approach by Dan Hughes. This is an acronym: Playfulness – Love – Acceptance – Curiosity – Empathy. It will be an alternative provision, short stay school for children who have suffered significant early life trauma.

The branding we have created is eye-catching. It’s memorable identity will appeal to both children and adults and help to differentiate the school from other provisions in Norfolk.

The Trust’s initial focus is on gaining support, which requires a professional and corporate feel. But the long term vision is to open the school which integrates education with continuous on-site therapeutic support. Therefore the branding also needs to be friendly, welcoming and supportive for the children and their families.
