Graphic Design student Dee spends time in the FOUR studio
At FOUR we love to give students the opportunity to join us for work experience placements, helping them to understand what life is like in a branding, marketing, PR and social media agency.
The lovely Dee, a Norwich School of Arts Graphic Design student, recently spent a couple of weeks in our Norwich office working alongside our design team.
Dee tells us in her own words what her experience was like at FOUR…
“Since starting my degree, I have developed as real desire to become a Graphic Designer. I really jumped at the opportunity to spend some time with in the FOUR studio, as I was interested to see what working within a design and marketing agency was really like.
During my time at FOUR, I was fortunate enough to work on some really exciting design projects, which have included attending an opening of a new café in Chantry Place, taking photos of the shopping centre and researching for a sustainability edit. I also got stuck in with live design projects for several large clients.
I have thoroughly enjoyed every task and getting creative. It has been such a good experience to be able to apply the skill learnt at university and learn new ones too! I have really liked learning what it is like to work within a design studio, working on initial briefs through to delivering the final product. I have loved finding out about the key stages of brand creation, creating ideas, choosing typography and creating professional work.
Having completed my placement at FOUR, I am now even more excited for my future career in the design industry. It has been an amazing experience, in which I have learnt so much. The team at FOUR have made me so welcome and I will carry this experience with me throughout the rest of my career.”
We’ve loved having Dee in the design studio and wish her all the best for her future within the graphic design industry!
