The Norfolk Chamber of Commerce is changing. It has evolved to become the ‘Norfolk Chambers of Commerce’ and is moving forward with a new voice and a new mission. Its branding needed to reflect these changes and support its ambition of striving forward by communicating effectively to all. As Chambers which engage the whole county, the brand needs to send a clear message to all about its new mission: ‘Connecting, supporting and giving voice to every business in Norfolk.’
With new brand guidelines (created by Naked Marketing) already in place for internal audiences and partners, the next step was to start sharing the new brand with the Norfolk business community. The Chambers approached FOUR for support in expanding upon its new brand concept, also created by Naked Marketing, so it could be creatively implemented across a varied mix of platforms and deliver clear and engaging communications with current and potential members. FOUR’s approach was to build upon the ‘Co.’ concept already created and to give it more life and adaptability to deliver the essential key messages about the Chambers’ work and business support. We expanded on the ways in which Co. words could be used to communicate the core messages and came up with ‘You’re in good co.mpany’ as the new tagline; reflecting the Chambers’ role in bringing people together, sharing knowledge, and ensuring the voice of Norfolk businesses is heard. We also helped developed the brand guidelines to embrace the use of more colour, shape and messaging to bring the brand to life, so that it meets the needs of an organisation with a rich heritage of serving the business community while encompassing the modern businesses of today and in the future.
